I thought I would start doing a "From the Archives" post every now and then, to bring back some of my favorite projects. I was at Target the other day and while looking through the Dollar Spot (gotta love that) I saw the cute little tin mailboxes back in stock.
I'm hoping to get to make another one this year using the Love You Much Bundle but in the mean time here is the one I created last year. Several times last year I was asked which patterned paper I used? But I didn't use any patterned paper. I think one of the reasons this is a favorite project of mine is because I got to make my own patterned paper using, of all things, a pencil eraser and a few stamp pads. Yes, I used the eraser end (needs to be a new eraser) of a good old number two pencil along with Purely Pomegranate and Pretty in Pink Classic Ink Pads on Whisper White CS to create my main paper. Ahh, how I miss Purely Pomegranate!
If you happen to be at Target soon pick up a mailbox or two and make one of your own. Here are the Valentine's Mailbox Quickie Instructions.
If you decide to whip one up and would like to share email me a picture, I'd love to post it here on my blog.
