Vintage Butterfly Thank You Card Recipe (four per page)
I am so pleased with how this card turned out. I love the vintage museum look it has and the butterfly looks so artsy but was super easy to color. I used the squeeze technique with So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Ruby Red Classic Ink Pads and an Aqua Painter.
The butterfly was stamped directly over the French Script Background and then stamped again on a scrap of Very Vanilla CS. This one was then colored, cut out and adhered over the first butterfly. What's nice is that the antenna from the first butterfly show up so you don't have to cut out the tiny antenna.
To color the butterfly first color the entire butterfly with So Saffron, then add Pumpkin Pie on the black shadded lines. Last add the Ruby Red to the spots at the edge of the wings, the dots on the butterflies body and a tiny but over the black shadded lines at the outter most edge of the wings.
