Growing up we always kept our eyes open for anything golf related because nearly everyone in the family played golf. As a kid I remember begin so excited when I would get to go "golfing'" with my grandpa. Even better was when he let me drive the golf cart a little on the back nine.
I saw a card that incorporated golf tees years ago in a Paper Crafts Magazine and made one like this. I used the "Just Golfing" stamp set and it worked out great. Well I wanted to share this card with you again but that set has been retired and there currently aren't any golf sets.
This often happens. Either you don't have the perfect stamp set in your stash or they don't make one so you have to think outside the box a little more.
This time I stuck with the play on words "fore dad" and just used one of my favorite alphabet sets called Taffy (115086).
I knew I wanted the "fore" on the outside and "dad" on the inside. As I was placing the "dad" part I thought, hey this is a great place to tuck in a gift card.
So all in one you have a great card for dad with a little gift of new golf tees and a place to tuck in a gift card for his favorite gold course or pro shop!
Don't forget . . .

I am going to share this with my daughter. Her father-in-law is golf crazy and would really appreciate this card. Thanks for such a great idea!

Chris, thank you for the Father's Day card ideas. My faves were the tools with foil (perfect for my dad who is a retired mechanic), and the wallet to hold a gift card and photos (perfect for anyone). All were great ideas and I enjoyed seeing a new card everyday! -Lana
