This adorable box in a bag as it's called has been a favorite of mine for years. It is called that because the bottom is a box and then when it's wrapped with paper it looks like a bag. You can find the tutorial here.
So I decided to combine one of my old favorites with one of my new favorites; the Stampin Up Gift Bow Die. I think I'm just amazed at how simple it is to run a plain ole piece of cardstock through my Big Shot, do a little, and poof . . . you have a gorgeous bow.
I'll be the first to admit that sometimes dies create things that are a little tedious to put together, but this bow is not one of them. I could sit and make them all day.
Here's a video that will show you just how easy they are to create.
Here's a close up of my bow. It was made with Cherry Cobbler Cardstock which I sponged the edges of with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.
Here's what I used to create this project.
Stamps: Very Merry Tags
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Classic Ink
Paper: Season of Style Designer Series Paper, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White Cardstock
Tools: Gift Bow Bigz L Die, Mosaic Punch, Circle from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Decorative Label Punch and Stamping Sponge
